“Break the Mold”

Definition: 1. put an end to a restrictive pattern of events or behavior by doing things in a markedly different way.

So a good question to ask is how do you see yourself currently?

Have your experiences been restricted in life based on your response to the way others see you or the way you see yourself?

To experience things from a fruitful and eternal perspective we must affirm, adhere, and operate based on the way God see us. He knows your potential, purpose, and ability. He knows his plans for you just like he used Joseph when his brothers didn’t believe and mocked him. His brothers placed a mold on him. Joseph chose to find his purpose through the way God saw him and not by conforming to his brother’s mockery and unbelief. David’s older brother placed a mold on him and yet he chose to see himself through his God given ability and not his older brother’s limited perspective. He ended up defeating Goliath. We have the choice whether we want to conform to the mold that other people place on us. God knows what he can do through you just as he did with Gideon who placed on himself the mold of a poor self image. His poor self image set a boundary of restrictive experiences but God wanted him to experience a new territory of blessings and favor. Sometimes what you or others see as a boundary that restricts you, God sees as an opportunity for you to encounter NEW TERRITORY that will bless you! It’s always best to see things from his perspective regarding your life. Break the mold of anything that prevents you from receiving the blessings that come from adhering to the way he sees you!
